Counseling Activities
Activated during the time at the penitentiary institutes of Rebibbia Nuovo Complesso, Rebibbia Femminile and Civitavecchia, the counseling desks are spaces for listening, orientation and legal-social support designed to accompany prisoners during the execution of their sentence and prepare them for reintegration.
The project
The desks were created to respond in a targeted way to the needs of detained persons, supporting them both in their immediate daily lives and in building a personal project for “afterwards.”
During the interviews, lawyers and students from Luiss Guido Carli University offer assistance on legal issues related to sentence execution, social security, civil disability, family allowances, documentation and procedural rights.
At the same time, the desk functions as a point of orientation and skills analysis.

Objectives
The project aims to ensure that detained persons have real and conscious access to their rights, accompany them on the executive path with concrete and personalized support, and offer tools to reorganize their skills and strengthen prospects for reintegration. Listening, information and guidance thus become opportunities for rethinking, empowering and planning a possible future even beyond the sentence.
