The DJs course
The DJ course is a training programme addressed to young people supported by USSM, who take part in the activity as an additional opportunity within their educational and social development pathway. The initiative offers an introduction to the world of DJing, providing technical and creative skills related to music and performance.
Project
The course takes place at the Centro Studi Musicali and has a total duration of three months.
The training programme introduces participants to DJing through a progressive approach that combines theory and practice. Lessons cover equipment use, mixing and transition techniques, music selection, and the ability to read a dancefloor. The course also addresses audience management, set preparation, use of software such as Rekordbox, and technical setup of equipment.
Goals
The project aims to provide participants with a structured first approach to DJing as a form of creative and professional expression, fostering the development of technical and artistic skills related to music.
Through the training pathway, it seeks to enhance concentration, listening skills, discipline, and the development of artistic identity, while offering a space for experimentation and personal growth.
The course is part of a broader educational context involving USSM participants, contributing to pathways of inclusion, responsibility, and empowerment of individual potential.
