Cristina Mazzoni is Operations manager for projects at the Severino Foundation.
Cristina coordinates and diligently oversees the organization and practical implementation of the Foundation’s projects, ensuring that every initiative takes shape in a concrete and effective way.
A criminal defense lawyer with over twenty-five years of experience, she has embraced the Foundation’s mission from the very beginning, convinced that justice must translate into real pathways for redemption and social inclusion.
Cristina is actively involved in the legal counselling desk at the Rebibbia Women’s Prison and the Juvenile Social Services Office (USSM) in Rome, where she offers assistance on social security and welfare rights with sensitivity, determination, and professionalism.
Her ability to transform ideas and values into daily activities is supported by a practical and proactive approach and a keen attention to organizational and logistical details. The relational skills and openness to listening, developed over years of legal defense work, enable her to build trust with incarcerated individuals, accompanying them in their journey toward training and reintegration.
