HACCP Course

Thanks to the collaboration with the company Hiidea srl, which specializes in food training, the Foundation financed several HACCP courses aimed at both inmates and prison staff.

The training courses offered theoretical and practical notions on food hygiene, storage, contamination prevention and current regulations, providing at the end a valid certification to work within the food chain.

This initiative represents a concrete response to the need to equip prisoners with certified and recognized skills, facilitating their reintegration into the world of work.

The project aims to provide practical and immediate tools for job placement, focusing on nationally recognized professionalizing training. It intends at the same time to enhance learning as a lever for change, promote greater awareness of food safety issues and create real conditions for a second chance, inside and outside prison.
