Professional Sommelier Course
Since December 2021, Fondazione Severino and the Italian Sommelier Foundation have run sommelier training courses in Rebibbia Female Prison and the Nuovo Complesso Male Prison in Rome, with strong participation and high completion rates.
Project
“In Vino Libertas” is a professional training programme structured in 30 lessons, combining theory and practice on winemaking, tasting, sensory analysis, and food and wine pairing. The course concludes with a skills assessment, a winery visit, and the awarding of diplomas.
Objectives
The aim is to enhance participants’ skills and support their social and professional reintegration through a recognised qualification.
